temperance hall preview

Temperance Hall, cinema, wartime billet and canteen, bingo hall, tax office and Freemasons’ Hall - the stunning Grade II Listed Temperance Hall at the centre of Haverfordwest has seen it all! Now it is being given a new lease of life following its acquisition.

We are repurposing the hall to create a new Community Printworks set to open in summer 2025. We are holding a public preview of Temperance Hall before renovation work begins.

Please join us to share memories of the past and plans for the future. Join members of Haverfordwest Printmakers Circle in a print activity: use stamps and stencils to create your own building as part of a large collaborative print.

The acquisition and renovation of Temperance Hall has been supported by the Community Ownership Fund, Shared Prosperity Fund, Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) and Sir John Perrot Trust.

Public Preview: Saturday 15 June, 10am-12pm

Temperance Hall, 3 St Mary's St, Haverfordwest, SA61 2DR

A note about access: The renovation of Temperance Hall will improve accessibility, but currently the hall is in disrepair with many hazards.

We are sorry, but it's not safe for toddlers, it's difficult to access for those with limited mobility, and there are no toilets.

During the renovation, the Haverfordwest Printmakers will be putting on family-friendly, accessible events at HaverHub, watch this space for more details.
